She creates steals on defense, uses good footwork to score inside, and is a knockdown 3-point shooter. Mylah will be a dynamic prospect to watch again for Saugatuck as a junior.

Mylah has the length, quickness, athleticism, and fundamental skills to be a special prospect for Saugatuck and she showed them off at the LBI Thanksgiving Preview on Wednesday. She caught a pass and used a quick reverse pivot to line up with the rim and then buried a smooth corner 3. Mylah created space from defenders with her dribbles to dish passes to open teammates and drive to the basket.

This is a name that should be highlighted in a lot of notebooks. Simpson has a HUGE upside and a ton of natural ability. She move smoothly and freely without the ball in her hands and makes it tough for defenders to stick with her. Simpson plays a high IQ game and will give up a good shot for a great one. She’s very underrated as a passer as well.
