New York 2024 Rankings Part 2: New Additions

The rankings have seen some some newcomers stake their claim as top players in the state of New York. What stands out about her is feel for the game, and how she can take over a game when the time arises. She has great basketball IQ and court vision as a point guard/facilitator and always makes the right play. She can laser rope passes through traffic and in transition effortlessly. She is undersized, but plays tough, hard nosed defense and utilizes her quickness to close out/deflect passes/and cause turnovers on the perimeter.  On the offensive end is where Cerf is most dangerous. Her pull up from the perimeter is a thing of beauty and she shoots it with extreme confidence. Shields loves to run the floor, has fluid mechanics and a relatively quick release on her shot. She plays a physically bruising style of basketball in the paint,  has elite footwork to get by you, and is not afraid of drawing contact when slashing to the paint. She's a swiss army knife on a loaded South Shore team and a integral piece to their success. She does a lot of things very well and plays will adapt and play to her strenghts within the team system. Can handle and distribute the rock efficiently, push the pace on the break, and is not afraid to crash the boards. Perhaps her most underestimated skill is her ability to defend. Littlefield is a gamer and knows how to play winning basketball. Her game is reminscent of Cynthia Cooper. Has a knack for making the right play and getting a bucket when her team needs it. Had great handle and footwork to create space for herself. She is an inside-outside threat on the offensive end with her ability to space the court. She can shoot, post up, and play off the pick and roll extremely well. On the defensive end, she's very active with creating turnovers off double teams and switches.
