About E’mani

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a post style player. My main go to is to backdown my opponents. My main go to shot is the right hand hook. I can face up when necessary, and can shot the ball when given the chance.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I can only accept 2nd if God comes 1st I am a very dominant player I only prepare to win. And am a very strong leader who pushes their teammates to wins. I don’t believe in giving up no matter what the score board says. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am involved in Student Council, Superintendent Advisory Council, Athletic Leadership, Trio Upward Bound, African American Student Council

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a very strong willed mindset. I know I can get anything if I put my mind to it. I have learned people aren’t going to give you everything in this life you have to work for it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being Black in America gives me just as much challenges. Knowing that people already look down on you because of what race you are pushed me to become the woman I am today. Everything I get I work hard for it; I don’t take handouts. Because of that people can be jealous of my mindset and look down on me as a person.

What type of college are you looking for?

A D1 college that not only has a good basketball team but has a good basketball family. I want to be pushed to my hardest potential, and know that the staff and team want the best from me. I don’t want a team that’s always looking for drama I want a team that will push each other to many wins. I also want a coach that will love and care for our basketball team and give the right encouragement.

E’mani Pryor E’mani Pryor E’mani Pryor 6'2" | C/PF Sebastian River | 2027 State FL held things down at the SSS during the moments I saw her on the floor. Pryor stood out on the defensive end. She blocked some shots in the paint and showed the ability to cover her man effectively in the paint. She was also quick enough to play great help-side defense when an opposing ball handler got in the paint. On offense, Pryor got great position on the blocks. Her athleticism jumped off the page and she will be a player to keep an eye on throughout this summer.
