After a couple of years where Bishop England played in the 4A ranks, the Bishops are set to move back down to 3A beginning in 2026-27. Allen played in 27 of the Bishops’ 28 games in 2025-26 and was one of the team leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. She averaged 13.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 2.7 assists and one block per contest. While listed at 5-foot-10 and primarily operating as a small forward, Allen can also be placed in a team’s lineup as a guard. She was one of seven from Bishop England’s class of 2027 on this past season’s Bishops roster. 

The ageless coaching wonder that is Paul Runey once again has Bishop England in the contenders’ chat. The Bishops drew region rival May River in the first round of the 4A state tournament and Allen’s 16 points led Bishop England to another win. The versatile junior Bishops star is not only the leading rebounder for the team (averaging 8.1 per game), but she also leads Bishop England in assists and in steals. She is one of seven juniors on what is a very veteran-laden Bishops squad. Bishop England will be on the road for its second-round contest against another region rival in Beaufort. 

The 2025-26 version of 4A Bishop England is very veteran-laden. Allen, being a 2027, is one of those many Bishops veterans. Allen did contribute 11 points to the Bishops’ cause. Unfortunately for Allen and her Bishops, she fouled out midway through the fourth quarter. Allen stands at a tall 5-foot-10 and displays her versatility with her ability to operate either in the backcourt as a guard or in the frontcourt as a forward. A number those instances where she attacks the rim lead to her drawing contact which can place her at the free throw line. Rebounding, collecting steals and blocking shots are also among the many strengths to her skillset. 

Allen plays at Bishop England down on Daniel Island in Charleston. Allen and the Lady Bishops were (28-3) last season under legendary Head Coach Paul Runey. Olivia a track athlete played a limited Grassroots schedule this past spring. She averaged 5.3 ppg and 5 rebounds a season ago on a very well-balanced squad that finished (28-3).
