2024 Player Rankings Update: Stock-Risers

The players below are a mixture of athletes who were ranked prior to this update and athletes who were not, the common factor between everyone being that they are all Stock-Risers with promising futures on the basketball court looking forward. Bixby has been vital in this teams success the past four seasons with the Wolverines. She was someone that her team could always trust in, while being a producer on both offense and defense. On this team they had their u0022starsu0022 that everyone game planned for and in reality, in that planning process A LOT of programs didn't account for Bixby and she made them realize that was a mistake. She always seemed to hit a big shot when it matters or whenever her team needed it most. Following this year, Bixby is committed to join UNI and their Volleyball program at the next level. I have a feeling that she is going to shine there. She has size, athleticism, and she loves to compete. If she continues to work on her craft, she is going to be someone we hear about on the Volleyball court here in Iowa for years to come.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["849616"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Prior to this season, we didn't see or hear too much about [player_tooltip player_id='849616' first='Adrianna' last='Boulden'] but she still made the most out of things and because of that, she is committed to compete at the next level with Central Dutch College following her high school graduation. Boulden has length and a balanced skill-set. She is someone that can get a bucket in a 1v1 matchup or she can move out and play off of the ball more-so. She is very good at sticking on her opponent defensively, while staying down on shot attempts or pump fakes. The Central Dutch program is on the up and up. Their coach has been working relentlessly to build a foundation moving towards the future. If players like Boulden can come in and perform like they did on the Varsity floor this past season, they are going to find a lot of success. Ryan is skilled with size and a high motor but the prospects that were put in front of her, are all D1 players for the most part. So whenever Ryan came into the game, she knew it was important to leave her mark. She did such a good job of this that she received an offer from a handful of collegiate programs out of this State to compete next year, eventually picking Grand View as her future home. What Ryan brings to the floor is interesting. Like I said, she has size and skill. She just needs to continue to grow her game, much like everyone else I'll mention in this article. She has natural strength compared to most and she moves really well. I'm excited to see what she can bring to that Viking's program over the next 3-4 years. She has always been a player that made things happen for her teams but this previous high school season told me a lot about her game. With her Benton program lossing their big-time producer from the past 3 years, it was time for someone else to step up each game this Winter and that was Townsley. She did a great job of leading her offense with the ball in her hands on every possession. Defensively, she works hard in both the full and half court, always trying to cause a tip of deflection for her squad. After she graduates, Townsley will be talking her talents to Wartburg to join up with that program for her foreseeable future on the hardwood. For four years now she has been a constant on the offensive end for her program. She has been lighting it up from all over the court, especially from deep at a high rate and letting her opponents know about it. Sometimes when you have a really skilled player, they shrink when it gets to either their high school or AAU season but that's not the case with Knutson. She has always shown up in one way or another when she takes the floor and  I think that's going to continue on this trend after this year at Drake. She has several abilities on the floor but her best is shooting it from deep and that's going to translate to any level/program she competes with. Make sure to keep an eye out for Knutson these next few years.
