About Peyton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A forward who can face the basket and hit 3s or create her own shot by putting the ball on the floor. A tenacious rebounder and great shot blocker.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm very funny and often crack jokes, but I'm very creative and like to be creative on the court as well. I like activities where I can create and express myself.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FBLA, Choir, and Srudent Council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm a volunteer coach for my dad's girls 4-6th grade team. And referee sometimes. My community service includes being a banner holder for the city of Colorado Springs annual Rodeo, Christmas, and St. Patrick's Day Parades

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Most recently actually. Transition from middle school to high school basketball is challenging and more fast paced, but with hard work and practice, the process is welcomed.

What type of college are you looking for?

Born in Lafayette, LA, lived in Colorado Springs for 8 years where she learned how to play basketball only 4 years ago! Peyton transferred to CJHS and has blended in with the team very well. She averaged 15pts/13rebs/2.5blks a game for her middle school team in Colorado enroute to a conference championship. A quick learner and hard worker who can stretch the floor for the Conway “Lady Cats” with her outside shooting. Breaux brings with her good defense and the ability to create her own shot. Her strengths are rebounds and blocks.
