Technically Mikaela McClain (Klein Forest) 2026 isn't a new face as I caught a glimpse of her a couple of times last season yet she shows that same fire her aunts did they played for Elsik, who was one of the top squads in Houston back then. McClain is an athletic guard that can score off the dribble as well as drop the jumper yet her on-the-ball defense was impressive, here are some of her teammates

Akoi Atem (Klein Forest) 2025

Atem made an earlier Tip Sheet from the event see evaluation here

Emerson Stephens-6'1 (Klein Fores) 2027

Stephens uses her frame well inside the paint, rebounds on both ends and has a nice upside

Miranda Martin (Sante Fe) 2026

Martin is "long and athletic" and she did a good job hitting the boards, on both ends and handling the ball afterward

[player_tooltip player_id='872932' first='Kamila' last='Montes'] (Klein Forest) 2027

Montes is heady and uses a deceptive first step to attack the basket, with either hand. She also showed court vision under pressure

Neiman Berry (Klein Forest) 2025

Berry attacked the basket powerfully and showed she could finish strongly after contact. She was equally impressive playing defense and rebounding

Arrya Perry (Klein Forest) 2027

Perry falls into that #sizedontmatter group I love to hashtag because she can play and she understands how to apply heat on both ends of the court

#22

Long and athletic, yep it's still the base, did a good job attacking the basket and showed timing playing the passing lane

Maya Shotwell (Dekaney) 2026 and Arianna Miller (Klein Forest) 2025 are a couple of athletic guards who were feisty on defense while Peyton Thomas (Klein Forest) 2027 shows solid upside in the paint because she understands positioning, on both ends and uses her frame
