About CJ

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am most known for my speed, defense, and ability to create plays. I anticipating passes and shut down opponents with quick reflexes and pressure. I have been described as "wreaking havoc" on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a team player in every sense of the word. I am always available when called upon to play at the top of the key and shoot, or face guard the best offensive player on the opposing team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a class officer and have been inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. I am active in student council and am a member of the soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports, I've learned the importance of teamwork and trust, as every win or loss is shared with my teammates. I’ve gained leadership experience by being a team captain, where I motivate and support my teammates, ensuring we stay focused and work together towards our goals. Serving on student council has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively, plan events, and solve problems collabor

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Facing a torn ACL was a most challenging moment of my athletic career. After surgery and months of physical therapy, I returned to soccer, basketball and lacrosse as a stronger athlete both mentally and physically with more empathy for my teammates and opponents.

What type of college are you looking for?

The best fit for my next level of education would be where I am supported both academically and athletically. I aspire to play college basketball with my twin sister and teammate, Zoey in an environment that matches our high level of focus and determination.
