With that said, let's look at Standouts from the spring! Neuendorf is a great passer and with elite court vision. She is considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the Midwest. Addison has great athleticism for her size. She plays with blow-by speed and is impressesive with her pull-up J off the bounce from 3-point land. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Addison Siemsen (2026) |5'8"| SSA White/Mitchell</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">WHY?</span></em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Addie is a left-handed handful on the basketball court. With her deadly outside shooting and lightning-quick dribble penetration, she keeps defenders on their toes at all times. Her quick hands-on defense makes her a nightmare for opponents, constantly disrupting passing lanes and creating turnovers. Addie's finishes at the basket are a sight to behold, showcasing her strength and finesse in equal measure. But what truly sets Addie apart is her team-first mentality and unwavering work ethic. A natural hustler, she leaves it all on the court every game, and her coachable nature makes her a valuable asset to any team. Addie is a left-handed sensation in hoops, her dedication, and skill make her a force on the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='902567' first='Amyra' last='Mahik'] (2028) |5'7"| SSA White/Pipestone (MN)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">WHY?</span></em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She has performed tremendously well in her first two tournaments of the season. In the initial tournament, Amyra distinguished herself as one of the top three scorers in her division. Mahik excels with on-ball pressure. She consistently creates turnovers and causes problems for the opposing team. Amyra has proven herself as an elite scorer while showcasing her remarkable skills. Mahik has made great contributions to her SSA squad.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='377192' first='Ashlyn' last='Koupal'] (2026) |6'3"| SSA 24 Black/Wagner</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">WHY?</span></em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She has shown that she is an elite three-point shooter. Koupal is versatile both offensively and defensively. Ashlyn plays well inside with a nice fadeaway, on the perimeter with her shot, and she thrives at attacking her defender. She is extremely coachable, an excellent teammate, and has a high hoops IQ. Eden sees the floor well in both the halfcourt and during offensive conversion situations. In that tournament, Eide proved herself as a top-scoring player in the division. With a deep understanding of the game, Jenna excels at attacking the hoop and creating scoring opportunities for her team. Her aggressive defense puts pressure on opponents, forcing turnovers and stifling their offense. Jenna thrives under pressure while handling on-ball defense with ease, and she uses her quick decision-making skills to outsmart defenders. With a strong foundation in basketball fundamentals and a willingness to learn and improve, Jenna is a dynamic player who brings intensity and skill to every game she plays. Peters gives major effort on the court, competes at a high level, and defends well. She has improved as a shooter and attacks the rim hard/aggressively. Mehrman does all of the little things that lead to team winning games. She is versatile, Sadie can play point or forward. Mehrman consistently guards the other team's best wing. She is a great 3pt shooter, is very skilled, and is creative with the rock. Schapp is always in the right place at the right time, this has allowed her to rebound at a high-rate, and collect loose balls. Terveen is a tenacious on-ball defender. She is a great catch-and-shoot 3-point shooter. Talya's ability to finish strong at the basket is unmatched, displaying a mix of finesse and power that keeps opponents guessing. But what truly sets Talya apart is her work ethic, speed, and coachable nature. A natural hustler, she gives her all in every game, willing to do anything for her team and teammates. With a high basketball IQ and exceptional shooting skills, Talya is a force to be reckoned with on the court, and her dedication to improvement and teamwork make her a true asset to any team. On the offensive end, she is a versatile threat, capable of driving to the hoop with finesse or knocking down shots from beyond the arc. Her ability to push the ball up the floor in transition adds a dynamic element to her game, making her a true standout on the court.
