Lee sold me on my initial sighting, and I knew she was going to be a terror, so seeing her expand her game at the Top 80 Basketball HTX should be sending shivers to high school defenders next season. Yeah, she started it off by winning the 3-point contest, but her crossover and court vision have shot up. She’s heady and understands how and when to get her teammates involved, yet on the flip side, she can take games over, scoring off the dribble as well as from outside. Her defense looked good, and she also played the passing lane see evaluations here, as @playerrimidies also had a chance to witness what’s coming

Lee also grabbed my attention a few years ago, I guess she was in the 5th grade and my exact words was “her electrifying first step” see evaluation here. I’ve caught her a few times since then, no crystal ball needed as she keeps adding more to her impressive game which is why she created so much buzz playing on the 15U EYBL circuit see evaluations here Her upside is scary because she’s already showing the potential to take games over in the blink of an eye

The best part of her game isn’t just her ability to break defenders down or knock down the three effortlessly—it’s her unselfishness. She does all the tough work to collapse the defense, only to dish it off and set her teammate up in perfect scoring position. Her read-and-react decision making is not only fun to watch, but also a clear testimony to a basketball IQ well beyond her years.

Lee falls into that “ceiling has no roof” which layman’s terms means “there is no telling how high she can go. She’s a “long and athletic” guard, which is also the base. She gets to the basket however she wants, the first step is very nice, and finishes easily after contact. Her court vision across the board needs to be mentioned, as well as her defense but watching her “follow her shot” JUST DID IT for me

Lee grabbed my attention over a year ago and I refuse to blink when she has the ball because I might miss something. She falls into a group that I use the “her ceiling has roof” line and watching her master the HEZ at this stage is going to also place her in the “nightmare to defend” category. She’s a long and athletic guard, and body control on her finishes is very nice, especially after contact, with EITHER hand. She has good court vision, she can drop the jumper, she applies “on the ball” pressure and she has good timing to block shots
