Throughout Sunday I saw several interesting prospects play their hearts out and leave it all on the hardwood. While this was happening, I was taking some quick notes about what I was seeing, live-in-action. Below I highlight five individuals and briefly describe what I saw out on the floor in their specific contests.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

#16 - Christen Banks - 2025 - 5'8 - SG/SF - Michigan Lady Playmakers 2025 (MI)

"Banks has a deceiving type of game. She plays within herself and pulls out some crafty moves if she is ever cut off. She has demonstrated this morning that she can attack the defense, get to two feet, and convert at a consistent pace. [program_tooltip program_id='712375' first='All' last='in'] all, one of the best prospects on her team, if not thee best on the offensive end."

#11 - Kneiya Ellison - 2025 - 5'10 - C/PF - Michigan Lady Playmakers 2025 (MI)

"A hard-nosed Post player. Someone that understands what she is best at with her back to the basket. She makes quick and powerful moves off of the catch, not giving her opponent much time to react. She goes up strong in every sense of the work and she is always willing to adapt to any given situation."

#5 - Anya Neufeld - 2026 - 5'7 - SG - CC Cougars 2025 (MA)

"A prospects with solid overall skill. Demonstrates that she understands how to attack her defender off of two feet, while being someone that can step through for a finish or fade away. She can also knock down shots on rotation at the three point line once the ball is passed back to her within her team's offense."

#33 - Nyasia Whitley - 2025 - 5'4 - G - NWI Select 2025 (IN)

"Whitley is someone that moves well on and off of the ball. She can produce in a number of different ways even if the ball is not in her hands. She demonstrated on several occasions this weekend that she can score from all three levels while understanding situations on the offensive side of the floor. She also doesn't play out of her frame or own ability. She knows what she is best at and that can take you a long ways in the grand scheme of things."

#33 - [player_tooltip player_id='882556' first='Kennedy' last='Johnson'] - 2026 - 5'10 - SF - [program_tooltip program_id='715556' first='Illinois' last='Dream'] 2025-2 (IL)

"The type of player that you want on your team because of her effort-level. She seems to be one of the first on the floor for loose balls every time and she is someone that is going to attempt to take a charge on defense when those opportunities present themselves. She has a solid mixture of size and ability for her. She is competing up a level but you'd never be able to tell by watching as she is one of the most promising prospects on her 2025 team."
