Elianna has been looking ELITE so far this summer for her new school, Newport. She has been scoring the ball at will, being able to get deep in the paint and finish at a high rate. Weiss continues to hit deep shots just like last season as well. Pairing this with with her elite defense will lead to a fantastic season for the junior to be.

Weiss has elevate her game in many ways this summer and it has been fun to watch. She is able to drive effectively with both hands, finishing in a variety of ways with both hands too. She has a nice floater in the paint that she uses after blowing by defenders with her quick first step. She finishes through contact and played exceptionally well in Vegas.

Elianna is playing up with NW United Blue Chips 17u since she is just a 2027 graduate. She handles the ball at an elite level, being able to keep it close to her and maintain her dribble even through tough 1 on 1 pressure. She excels in the pick and roll game, being able to attract both defenders with a pull back dribble and finding her open post who’s rolling down the paint. She can shoot it too, so defenders must stay on their toes when defending her.

Elianna has been improving a ton on the court throughout last season and into this AAU season. She is one of the pirest shooters in the state, especially in the 2027 class. She doesn’t need much time to get her shot off so defenders need to stay close. She moves well off ball and uses screens to her advantage to get open and get good looks.

Elianna has a great shot from deep, being able to set her feet quickly to pair with her quick release it is tough for opposing players to defend. Weiss can put the ball on the floor too, being able to attack downhill efficiently with either hand. She has taken the next step on both ends of the court, but her agility and quickness on the defensive side has shown improvements.

Weiss is an impressive sophomore with elite range. She can hit consistently from way behind the arc and won’t hesitate to hit one in her defender’s face off a size up. She was second on the team a year ago at 12.2 points a game and led the way with 73 3PM. She’ll be a player to track who could really blossom in her sophomore year and who already plays with great confidence and ability.

Elliana is top 10 (2027) shooter n the state of Washington for her class. She averaged 12 points and was top three in most all statistical categories. She had some big games, including a 21 point – 11 steals – 7 threes made. She made 73 threes at 47% which is almost unheard of, especially from a freshman. She benefits from an unselfish point guard in Anna Marsh Anna Marsh 5'4" | PG Mercer Island | 2025 State WA , who averaged over seven assists. A quick release, combined with the confidence of an elite shooter, expect the threes to be a consistent source. That is not all she does. She’s tough on the downhill and uses a strong dribble and great body control. She can cross it over and hit the quick mid-range jumpers. Excellent court vision. Good player and stock riser.

Elianna should be ranked within the 2027 class and will likely see her name jump from the Watch-List next time they are updated. She played with great anticipation and change of pace, knowing when and when not to attack the defense. She does a phenomenal job at finding the weak spots in the defense, using her high basketball IQ to read the opposing team quickly. Weiss moves well off the ball too, being able to stay moving and eventually ending up with an open look.
