I wanted to get some names of players that I should watch for possible future articles. Some might be under the radar, but all in this article are talented. At Prep Hoops our goal is to cover as many players as possible who have the potential to play at the college level. From junior college to division 1. From class 1B to 4A. I try to limit my articles to those who have that potential. I reviewed some film on each of these playes and here's what I saw.

If you didn't know Bella was a freshman last season, you might have thought she was a senior while watching her play. She was a consistently good shooter from three. She will be a great one. She is a two guard for Ellensburg but had a stint or two at the point due to foul trouble vs White River at the state tournament. She handled it just fine. Good enough to take over the point after next season if she needs to. Her court awareness is great, and she makes good basketball decisions. The times she got into the paint and scored, she did it with strength and control. She isn't flashy, unless you appreciate the finer things in basketball. She is most definitely skilled. I expect a big season, could be the leading scorer for Ellensburg next year. A lot of credit would go to [player_tooltip player_id='375545' first='Jamison' last='Philip'] if that were to happen. She is a true point guard, drive and kicks, creating off the dribble and finding wide open teammates. Philip has a great pull-up floater, jumpers in the lane. The decision making is excellent. Two guards you can enjoy watching play the game. A top guard combo in 2A next season.

Grace is the type of player who can fill up the stat sheet for you. She can play anywhere on the floor. More of a two guard or three, she's got good range on the perimeter. She seemed to be even more adept at scoring around the basket and in the lane A skilled player who will continue to flourish. You see the potential as an all-level scorer. A little shiftines, and can shoot it off the dribble. . She can be a difference maker with her ability to rebound, defend, and score. She has good instincts, with decent length, helping her to do all those things. Under the radar, maybe, but that should change in next couple seasons. She is active on both ends of the floor She is a very high ceiling player.

Grace is a unique combination of size and skill. At 6'2, she plays on the perimeter much of the time and was a three point threat all season long last year with a soft and deep shooting range. Her ability to make plays from the high post-elbow area was evident. She made some great passes for buckets in games I watched, solid on target passes. She has shown willingness to go after rebounds, going up and getting them, not waiting for the ball to come to her. She has grab and go ability, shoots it really well from three, makes good decisions, good floor vision, and can affect the game with length and blocking shots on defense. She is also a team first type player. High character, great attitude. She should be getting more looks from colleges, especially by time the 2024-25 session is said and done.

Izzy was a big part of the state tournament run for Bonney Lake last season. She had an impact on both ends of the floor as a starting guard. She has active hands on defense, so much so that the announcer at state said "she just has the quickest hands" after a few deflectiona and steals. She was counted on to handle the ball quite a bit on the perimeter and showed some good decision making. She is strong and she uses it with her scoring around the basket. She knows how to methodically break down the defense, aa her strength and body control are more of a factor than quickness. One part of her game that should continue to shine is her long range shooting, developing even more range seems inevitable as strong as she is. She knocked down thees for Bonney Lake ast season and has shown a lot more of that in the AAU season. Another 2027 player, who wasn't phased by being on the big stage.

Camas has been loaded with talent the past few years. Sophie will be an interesting player to watch next season. Pure shooter, I don't know the stats but I'd bet she shoots the three at a very high percentage, the shooting mechanics are great. One free throw will tell you all you need to know about that. With all the scoring threats from last season, she didn't always get a lot of shots, but she will next season. She could very well up her double her points, although Camas still has plenty of talent, with a couple of 2027 players to help with that. She did a few things that make me believe she will be mors than just a shooter. Moving without the ball, although Camas seems to be great at that with everyone. Bottom line, the way she shoots it, she's bound to have some huge scoring games. Camas loses a ton of length, so the more guard oriented attack could feature Buzzard getting lots of looks, and point guard [player_tooltip player_id='317648' first='Keirra' last='Thompson'] will find her to help with that. Sophie has plenty the role of knock down shooter extremely well the last couple seasons. Not always easy when you aren't necessarily getting lots of looks.
