Bilic isn’t the tallest or the most skilled but she is crafty, she plays off of two feet – which helps her maximize her spacing anywhere on the floor, her fundamental’s help her convert on multiple levels on offense, she is always a threat to score, and she is scrappy on defense with her active hands. At the next level Bilic will be competing with Winona State, a program with solid coaching and a winning history. As long as she continues to work prior to leaving for school this Fall, she will be just fine once she gets on the collegiate floor. As for this final Update, Bilic jumps into the Top 15 to cap things off.

This is a huge get for Walford as they bring in a new HC and a new system. Bilic has been described by us for years now as a player that just makes it happen. Doesn’t matter the situation, timing, or anything in between. When a play needs to be made, Bilic answers and Waldorf will benefit from that following this upcoming Winter. (That’s for sure.) A Winter that Bilic’s team will have a chance to make history with their first 5A Class State Title.

I am happy that Vana Bilic Vana Bilic 5'8" | CG Waukee NW | 2026 State IA is starting to get the respect she deserves from the college level moving into her Senior campaign with Waukee NW. Bilic just makes things happen. We have seen it on the Varsity floor at the State Tournament, on the AAU floor on the road, and everywhere in between. She is incredibly tough to stick in front of and stop consistently throughout the entire duration of a contest. This is a player that might not be great at anything but she is very good at everything. She is versatile in her play-style, helping her fit into a number of different systems looking towards the future, if she so chooses. Her Waukee NW team will be a top 5A contender and she is going to put up some numbers while they dominate so it’ll be interesting to see who else throws their name into ring with an offer for Bilic before this upcoming Winter comes to a close.

We have said it time and time again, Vana Bilic Vana Bilic 5'8" | CG Waukee NW | 2026 State IA just makes it happen. No matter what it is, Bilic is always in the right place at the right time or she moves into the right spot to get a clean look off. As of most recently, Bilic grabbed an offer from NAIA – Grand View out of Des Moines. This is one of the first offers Bilic has which is surprising because she is very thorough. Whoever locks her in is getting someone who could change their program in a number of different ways. Especially if she is competing at that NAIA, D2, D3, or JUCO level. She has a smooth shooting ability, a quality handle, she isn’t afraid to get physical, and she is willing to defend. All things that will translate to the next level.

Plain and simple, Vana Bilic Vana Bilic 5'8" | CG Waukee NW | 2026 State IA just gets it done. She competes with that clutch factor or clutch gene in her blood. Bilic isn’t the tallest or quickest player I’ve ever seen but she doesn’t get stopped too often offensively. Most of the time she is blowing by her individual defender and getting to any spot she wants. It could be at the hoop for a finish on either side, a pull up floater in the midrange, or a deep three off the dribble. Either way, it’s usually a clean and open attempt for Bilic. Following this first Live Period weekend, Bilic received an offer to compete with an NAIA program out in AZ. I’m not sure if this will be the route she will eventually choose but it’s definitely a great option to have.

By my evaluation, Vana Bilic Vana Bilic 5'8" | CG Waukee NW | 2026 State IA is a player that could compete at the D2 level and she could make some waves throughout her career. Bilic is a guard that has better than average speed, she can handle, she can distribute, she can get to the hoop and finish through contact, she can pull up from all three offensive levels, and she can orchestrate a team’s offense if need be. When it comes to defense, Bilic can lock up. She has good reaction times in real time and that translates to produce in the steals/deflections departments. It’ll be important to get in from of the right eye this AAU season for Bilic but I’m not worried about that. If she is seen by the right coaching staff, she will be committed before you know it.

Waukee NW vs CR – Prairie was a battle throughout the entire duration of the contest. Prairie was up 3 at half but NW took the victory by the 6 when the game came to a close. The player for the Wolves that was inevitable was guard, Vana Bilic Vana Bilic 5'8" | CG Waukee NW | 2026 State IA . Bilic plays with a hard-nosed demeanor, she makes plays with her three level scoring ability A LOT, and she competes with a ton of energy. In this one specifically, Bilic was everywhere. She was scoring at the rim off of her team’s set offense, she pulled up and hit a three at one point in transition to start her groups third quarter run, and she never seemed to feel pressure. All in all, Bilic just played a well rounded game as a whole and that’s what was needed to move the Wolves onto the next round on Thursday morning.

Vana Bilic Vana Bilic 5'8" | CG Waukee NW | 2026 State IA of Waukee NW made a statement over the past few days with her production on the Varsity floor for her Wolves program. Bilic ended her team’s contest against Ankeny by putting up a massive stat line of 28 points on 9/12 shooting and 4 assists. She also went 5/5 from behind the three point line and 5/5 from the free throw stripe. This Wolves team is going to be a problem for the rest of this Winter and looking into the immediate future. They are quickly learning from their mistakes and making adjustments in real time, all leading to some important victories so far. Each night this squad has someone else that could go off for a record night and this time, it just happened to be Bilic.

With the ball in her hands and her aggressive demeanor, she is a handful and I’m hoping that during this League that she will show off that she is a “top dawg”, even with all the other ballers on the floor. Coach Edwards and Beechum have done a great job of bringing in a high-end product, now prospects just have to do their jobs and show up. Bilic is a, for sure, collegiate level prospect but I’m not exactly sure at what level just yet. I’m also hoping this League will help show me more so that I can properly evaluate her in the grand-scheme of things. She is going to be a producer this Winter at Waukee NW, just like she was this AAU season with her All Iowa Attack EYCL team so I’m sure she will be getting some love from the collegiate level, sooner rather than later.
