Here's part 3 from opening day out with more NEW FACES, including some who crossed the state line from Louisiana and play for Dream Big Elite

Amiyah Joseph-5'9 F (MSA East) Dream Big Elite [2026]

Joseph did a good job in the paint on both the offensive and defensive ends yet she was relentless at times going AFTA rebounds. She's strong, finished strongly around the basket, putbacks included and she also scored off the dribble. Her interior defense was solid but she also showed she could step outside of the paint and guard her man

Deshya Williams-5'6 G (Lutcher High) Dream Big Elite [2026]

Willims is an athletic guard who did a good job of using her athleticism on both ends of the court. She applied on-the-ball pressure and helped force turnovers yet she also did what I love to see which also leads to the ball going the other way, and that's playing the passing lane. Her first step was also nice as she scored off the dribble

Lucy Harvison-5'10 F (Ascension Christian) Dream Big Elite [2025]

Harvison also was a terror on the boards and her DESIRE as well as BATTLING for everything falls into that "something you just can't teach" category. She also went after loose balls in the air and showed her versatility on defense by guarding her man inside the paint as well as stepping outside of it to apply pressure

[player_tooltip player_id='1094054' first='Carlyn' last='Leblanc']-5'6 G (Parkview Baptist) Dream Big Elite [2025]

Leblanc immediately grabbed my attention with her baseline-to-baseline pressure yet her defense in the set was also nice as she seemed to be at the right place at the right time to create havoc and helped give her tea a spark which usually led to the change of momentum. She also showed she could score off the dribble

Ruthie Mein-5'10 G/F (Martin's Mill) Platinum ETX National McQuary 2025 [2025]

Mein showed a variety of ways to get by the defender starting with a deceptive first step yet if that wasn't enough, she gave me a nice look at her HEZ which also helped get whoever was guarding her off balance. In transition, her crossover was also effective and all helped her get to the basket to score or dish, court vision across the board was nice also

[player_tooltip player_id='1221919' first='Shaniya' last='Perkins']-6'1 F (Haughton) Platinum ETX National McQuary 2025 [2026]

Perkins is "long and athletic" and that is and will always be the base. I say that over and over because I have to be repetitive but when you factor in her standing above "the magic number" those two things right there fit several next-level coaches' profiles. She did a good job scoring off the dribble, her defense was solid and she hit the boards on both ends

Chloe Ann Howe-6'0 F (Canton) Platinum ETX National McQuary 2025 [2026]

Howe had me going wow as she too was not only "long and athletic" and stands at "the magic number", she also showed versatility on the offensive end by not only creating her shot under pressure but going by the defender to score off the dribble. Her creativity didn't stop there as she showed she could drop the jumper, "catch and shoot" 3 included
