Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I love to push the ball FAST. My game style is to never stop moving, chase down balls, attack and keep my player away from the basket.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Well, I like to work. I really want to see how good I can become. I play 3 sports at my high school because it is small but EVERY day after soccer practice or a game I am still going to the gym to work. It is important to me to play for a coach that will push me to be my best.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have been on High Honor Roll each year of high school and was appointed to National Honor Society. I belong to a kindness club at school and also am involved in the Buddy Program where I spend time with younger students each school day.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Every year of high school I have been a team captain. It can be difficult because not everyone wants to be held accountable but it is important for a good working team environment. I also volunteer at my church teaching Religious Education and the kindness club at school does community service like raking leaves, working at the food pantry and things around school.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I moved to a new school when I was in 10th grade. Coming from a much bigger school I was accustomed to playing tougher competition. This made me an instant starter and therefore turned other people off. It was hard because there were some people that weren't very nice to me. I have learned to just be myself. As long as I'm not in the wrong then I can just be myself.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am keeping all options open right now. I just want a program with a strong coach and family like atmosphere where we can all strive to want each other to be the best we each can be.
