McacNabb is turning herself into a name people are starting to remember, and it’s not by accident. Everyone already knows about the shooting – she can stretch the floor and change a game quick – but what stood out at the PGH Shootout was how much stronger she’s gotten. You could see it right away. Her team were running inbound sets to get her touches inside, and she delivered. She used her body well, stayed balanced, and showed real patience working through traffic. She opened with 22 points and never slowed down. What impressed me most was how comfortable she looked doing it in different ways. It’s still early in the spring, but she’s playing like someone already in mid-season form, and that’s a tough thing for opponents to deal with.
