Colome has been written about many times, but this was actually the first time getting to see a workout of hers up close. She showed fluid movement from the beginning and one aspect of her game that stood out was her ability to change heights. Zareia doesn’t have the fastest footspeed, but the deception tactics she plays with can really throw potential defenders off. Manipulating the ball with her handle as well as shifty body movements has proven to be lethal. The changing of heights while coming down hill or coming off the screens can cause pure havoc.

It’s evident that she’s a talented player with high scoring upside, however it’d be careless not to mention that Colome has the potential to be one of the top guards in the entire class. There’s no question Zareia can be a dominant force; her consistency having commanding outputs over the competition this season will start to put her into new conversations. Take this as a challenge to unreservedly lay down the law and leave nothing on the table.
