I was able to recently see “Millie” in the middle of July, and she continues to improve. She has always been a quick, feisty little water-bug, but I was more impressed with her understanding of changing speeds more often, being aggressive but no forcing the action as much, and really getting after it defensively. She’s probably always going to be a little undersized, but her speed and quickness more than make up for it. Next Spring could be huge for her, as small colleges look for floor generals. If she continues her ascent and learning situational basketball, she could be a good one.

I saw Amelia in May, and while smaller, she is a very skillful point guard prospect. She has nice length at her height, speed and quickness, and she plays with a nice motor. I feel like she can fit a variety of offenses, because she has some touch outside, she can attack the basket and create for others, and she can get to the rim to finish. She’s also an effortful and aware defender who does a nice job defending the ball or offering help from the weak side.
