Conway Freshman “Lady Cats” Season Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Arkansas 6A Freshman team ready to make a statement in girls' basketball in Central Arkansas</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>CJHS freshman team has talent that will move up to Coach Hutchcraft's program. Led by head coach Steven Lamb of Cabot, the freshman teams' talent comes from a list of 8th graders off of the junior high team. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1260301' first='Nicole' last='Jones']</strong> (a player who is highly underrated nationally in her grade level) will cause trouble for backcourts this season.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='968070' first='Peyton' last='Breaux']</strong>, a forward transfer from Colorado Springs and <strong>De'Aja Neal</strong> will grab plenty of rebounds for the "Lady Cats" freshman squad. Plus, a lot of depth at each position will put them in a spot to be conference champs in their grade level. Peyton transferred to CJHS and has blended in with the team very well. She averaged 15pts/13rebs/2.5blks a game for her middle school team in Colorado enroute to a conference championship. A quick learner and hard worker who can stretch the floor for the Conway "Lady Cats" with her outside shooting. Breaux brings with her good defense and the ability to create her own shot. The highlight of this article and most talented of this group. Nicole is truly special, and eyes automatically will be drawn to the game of this upcoming star. I mean" game", and watching her 1st hand on several occasions defines why she already has a college offer and is being noticed by several other college programs. A true leader and that's impressive for her age and a reflection of her father and trainer T.J. She averaged 13pts a game as a 7th grader. Comfortable with going left or right and can finish with either hand as well. From creating for others to runners and floaters, or a pocket pass to the big off the screen, Nicole is definitely underrated in her grade level regionally and maybe nationally! She can shoot 3s over defenders and has a high basketball IQ.
