Senior Class Approaching Milestones

It's never too early to look ahead to the high school season and exciting milestones that may be reached by so many seniors across the Garden State. From points to rebounds, let's take a look at who's about to etch their name in the history books forever in NJ girls basketball.   2,000 POINTS   [player_tooltip player_id='414340' first='Macie' last='McCracken'] | Wildwood   She enters the season sitting at 1,782 points and with her scoring prowess, she could very well eclipse 2K by the end of January! She's gotten better and better as the years have passed, scoring 431 points as a freshman, 647 as a sophomore and 704 as a senior. In fact, there's a very real possibility she may even hit 2,500 points before it's all said and done in March! Even more remarkable, she has the chance to also eclipse 1K rebounds this season, just 374 rebounds away (last season grabbed 322 of them). One of the most prolific scorers and best rebounding guards in the state!   [player_tooltip player_id='414430' first='Allie' last='Shenloogian'] | Park Ridge   Allie has scored 600+ points the last two seasons and looks to up that even more in her senior year! Currently at 1,676 and with torrid scoring, it's all but guaranteed she reaches 2K before the end of the season. In fact, the way she goes on a heater, she may reach it by mid-January! Last season, Allie recorded four 30+ point games and two 40+ point games! For her career thus far, she is averaging 19.0 ppg.   [player_tooltip player_id='414424' first='Charlotte' last='Tuhy'] | Madison   One of, if not THE most prolific scorer Madison High has ever seen, Charlotte sure knows how to put the ball through the hoop! She's upped her production with every passing year, totaling 395 points in Year 1, 563 as a sophomore and 727 last season. With 1,685 points under her belt, she is likely to eclipse 2K by mid-to-late January. Her powerful two-way game may also see her reach 1,000 rebounds (currently at 853) and 100 blocks (currently at 97) and 300 steals (currently at 223). No other player in school history has achieved these feats.   1,000 POINTS   [player_tooltip player_id='583758' first='Nila' last='Giraud'] | Montclair Immaculate   Nila is just 52 points shy of reaching the big milestone, something she is sure to reach before the new year. For her career, she's averaged 12.2 ppg and has done it playing against some of the best teams in America season after season. The Lady Lions are known for challenging nationally ranked powerhouse teams and consistently playing one of the most difficult schedules of any team in the state. Nila also has the chance to reach 1,000 rebounds, sitting at 718 entering the season. As a junior, she totaled a career-best 309 boards and is in a great position to pull down just as many this season, if not more!   [player_tooltip player_id='414407' first='Leah' last='Crosby'] | St. Thomas Aquinas   Splitting her career between STA and Rutgers Prep, Leah has totaled 828 points in three years of high school basketball. She does a great job commanding the paint and being relentless around the rim! She's averaged just under 10 ppg and has done it playing against top competition in nationally ranked teams such as LuHi (NY), Red Bank Catholic (NJ), Morris Catholic (NJ), Bishop McNamara (MD), St. John's College (DC) and Grace Christian (VA), to name a few.   [player_tooltip player_id='333330' first='Faith' last='Williamson'] | Saddle River Day   Just 1 point away from 1K, Faith will look to reach this milestone on opening day! Throughout the years, Faith has put up big numbers against some of the top ranked teams in NJ & NY as SRD plays a juggernaut schedule, making this feat even more impressive. She has averaged 12.6 ppg and has totaled at least 300 points in every season.   [player_tooltip player_id='525407' first='Gianna' last='Chuffo'] | St. Thomas Aquinas   After a breakout junior season, Gi finds herself just 87 points away from 1K. Most of her scoring comes from 3-point land, where she can light it up and prove devastating. In fact, 618 of her 913 points have come from 3-point baskets! Expect the big milestone to be eclipsed before 2024 comes to a close.   [player_tooltip player_id='333551' first='Janaya' last='Meyers'] | Bayonne   Totaling 184 points at Hudson Catholic and 684 at Bayonne, Janaya enters her final season of high school ball just 132 points away from the big milestone! With efficient multi-level scoring, she pours it on and tallies the points quickly! In 72 games played thus far, she has averaged 12.1 ppg and has helped her respective teams achieve very successful seasons, including a Group 4 State Title in 2023.   [player_tooltip player_id='414422' first='Mia' last='Semioli'] | Chatham   Over the course of three seasons with the Cougars, Mia has averaged 10.1 ppg and totaled 931 points, putting her just 69 points away from 1K for her career. In addition, she is 18 made 3-pointers away from 100. A scorching hot shooter from distance, 246 of her 931 points have come from 3-point land. There's a real possibility she eclipses both marks before the new year.   [player_tooltip player_id='414431' first='Kyley' last='Gary-Grayson'] | West Orange   At 84 points away from the milestone, Kyley will slash, slice and dice her way to the rim to tally points for her squad and possibly reach 1K before the new year! When she's not driving inside for 2, you can find her way out behind the arc splashing in 3's in rapid succession. In fact, 180 of her 916 points have come from distance! The past three years, Kyley has averaged 12.4 ppg for the Mountaineers.   [player_tooltip player_id='414349' first='Bella' last='Curanovic'] | Cranford   Bella's numbers have grown exponentially as the seasons have passed. After putting up just 101 points her freshman year, she now finds herself 184 points away from 1K, thanks to big sophomore and junior seasons. Even more impressive, Bella has done most of her damage sinking 2-point baskets! For her career thus far, she has averaged 11.3 ppg. At this rate, she can expect to notch this tremendous milestone mid-season!   [player_tooltip player_id='414322' first='Molly' last='Frith'] | Holy Cross Prep   Just 172 points away 1K, Molly is in a great position to reach this mark by mid-season! It wouldn't surprise me if the big bucket came from a 3-pointer because of the way she heats up from downtown! Over the past three seasons, she's knocked down 146 of them, accounting for more than half of her career total in points!   [player_tooltip player_id='338820' first='Milan' last='Jones'] | Oak Knoll   With so much versatility in her game, Milan has proved she can score the ball from just about anywhere on the floor. She's a legitimate inside-out threat who's 3-level scoring prowess finds her just 133 points away from 1,000 for her career! She's put up an average of 12.8 ppg in three seasons with the Royals and is on the cusp of making school history when her senior campaign kicks off in December!   [player_tooltip player_id='525309' first='Averie' last='Harding'] | Egg Harbor Township   Averie could reach 1K before December is over! Sitting at 925 points, she is just 75 points away from the major milestone and etching her name is school history forever. Over the course of her high school career, she has averaged 12.5 ppg and has led her team to 51 wins! Look for a big senior year that may even see her flirt with 1,500 career points before it's all said and done!   [player_tooltip player_id='879592' first='Izzy' last='Augustine'] | Pennington   The 3-point sniper finds herself 73 points away from 1K! Of her 927 points, a remarkable 468 of them have come from 3-pointers! She has consistently proven to be one of the most dangerous deep-range shooters in all of Prep B, averaging just 2 per game over the course of her career (13.2 ppg).   [player_tooltip player_id='333349' first='Mya' last='Loniewski'] | Hillsborough   Mya's breakout junior year has put her in prime position to eclipse the 1,000-point milestone before 2024 comes to a close. At 949, she is just 51 points away from the milestone and joining teammate [player_tooltip player_id='583701' first='Francesca' last='Schiro'] as active 1,000-point scorers for the Lady Raiders. She has averaged 11.9 ppg from freshman-junior campaigns and has upped her production with every passing season.   [player_tooltip player_id='414398' first='Nevaeh' last='Banks'] | Paterson Eastside   One of the most devastating 3-point shooters in all of Group 4, Nevaeh has totaled 570 points off 3-pointers alone, more than half of her 913 total career points. She's proven to be a ferocious scorer and someone who can light it up quick-fast! She has averaged 11.7 ppg over the past three years.   [player_tooltip player_id='333322' first='Kayden' last='Clark'] | Ocean Township   After a big junior year, Kayden finds herself on the cusp of 1K! She poured in 400 points last season, bringing her total to 845, just 155 points away from the major career milestone! Her scoring has come from a nice mix of 2-point and 3-point baskets as she is well-known for being an efficient 3-level scorer. In 84 career games, Kayden has averaged just over 10 points per contest.   [player_tooltip player_id='414290' first='Christa' last='Ramos'] | Neptune   Christa's junior year was her best one yet, totaling career highs in 3-pointers, points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Now a senior, she is on the brink of etching her name into the Neptune High history books as she sits just 138 points away from 1,000! So far in her career, over one-third of her scoring has come from 3-point baskets, with 102 made 3's (and counting) to her name!   [player_tooltip player_id='583759' first='Savannah' last='Seawell'] | Montclair   Savannah has the opportunity to notch not one, but TWO major milestones before her high school career comes to an end. She enters her senior campaign 125 points and 259 rebounds away from 1,000 for her career in both categories! She has averaged a double-double through 61 games at 14.3 ppg and 12.1 rpg, making her a formidable presence on both sides of the ball.   1,000 REBOUNDS   [player_tooltip player_id='414250' first='Emma' last='Thornton'] | Barnegat   Already with 1,000 points to her name (1,210 to be exact), Emma is gearing up for a huge senior year and ready to eclipse yet another major milestone! She is just 23 rebounds shy of 1K! To add to that, she is likely to notch her 1,500th career point as well, putting her at career totals that very few in South Jersey have ever achieved! She has averaged an astonishing 16.8 ppg and 13.6 rpg over the past 3 seasons with the Bengals!
