Becca joined Prep Girls Hoops and Prep Hoops in May of 2026. Becca is a Chicago born and raised sports fanatic. She was the first female sports columnist of The Evanstonian newspaper and is currently transitioning her career from non-profit exec to sports media. She has played basketball her whole life - from the FAAM (Fellowship of African American Men) youth league to Pride Basketball League NYC to University of Maryland’s Graduate Co-Ed League. She has a Masters in Education from The University of Maryland and her Bachelors degree in English from Grinnell College. She can’t wait to bring more visibility to up and coming basketball players across the Chicago area and suburban Chicago.
