Logan Moorse

Logan grew up around the game of basketball in Apple Valley, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, he went on to pursue a degree in business from the University of Minnesota. Throughout college, Logan did his best to keep tabs on the Minnesota basketball landscape by following his younger sister’s basketball career at Apple Valley High School, and later at Bethel University. Fast forward a few years to when Logan was looking find a path back into high school athletics. His search led him to Benilde St. Margaret’s where he helped with the boys basketball program for two seasons. After being away from the girls game for close to a decade, he accepted an opportunity to join the varsity girls basketball coaching staff at Simley High School in 2017. He was awarded the MGBCA Section 3AAA Assistant Coach of the Year award in his first season with the team. Logan is a strong believer that girls basketball players deserve more exposure and recognition, and is ecstatic to have a small role in that that through his contributions to Prep Girls Hoops.
