Marc Hugunin
Marc has been watching Minnesota high school basketball since 1958, and played high school ball at Bethlehem Academy in Faribault (class of 1968). In 2006 he and his friend Stew Thornley teamed up to write Minnesota Hoops, a history of basketball (high school, college, pro, boys and girls, men and women) in Minnesota published by the Minnesota Historical Society Press, and has blogged at www.MinnesotaHoops since then. In 2012 he was historian for the Minnesota State High School League for its celebration of 100 years of state high school tournament basketball. He has contributed game reports (Spy Out & Abouts) to kjasr.com for five years and has published highly respected girls player rankings at Minnesota Hoops for two years. Kevin Anderson listed him among the 100 most influential individuals in girls basketball in Minnesota. Most of that was done under the handle of "sunnyday." Marc has provided player database and rankings and profiles to Northstar Girls Hoops and will contribute recruiting reports and analysis on an ongoing basis.
