Alford caught my eye during the “3 on 3” after noticing her explosiveness off the dribble while wearing a brace. Had a brief chat with her and learned a lot about her determination yet her work ethic on both ends had me smiling. She gave me acrobatic finishes and reverse layups and her body control was among the best in attendance but she also dropped the jumper, catch and shoot included, and her “on the ball” defense was more than solid
