Allen left me speechless with her ability to knock down the long ball when I first caught her in what seemed like an eternity ago yet she made it clear that she was savvy and unselfish but man could she shoot it. Over the years, I’ve watched her expand her game to drop it from deep, take her midrange up, and score off the dribble. Her catch and shoot also shot up, as well as her ballhandling and court vision yet her defense also impressed me at both the Super 64 and Neville Jones Invitational

Allen is one of those players that I mentioned in the PREVIEW and also one that I have personally seen drop double digit three pointers in games, multiple times yet she gave me a totally different look on Saturday. Yeah, the catch and shoot, the step back, the coming off the screen and draining it all were still there yet she’s attacking more aggressively and finishing stronger after contact. Her court vision was also on display
