Aakash plays with outstanding pace and body control, showing poise and patience as she picks her spots. She has a strong ability to get by defenders, absorb contact, and finish at the rim. In isolation, she is comfortable operating in space, using a quick first step and a smooth pull-up jumper to keep defenders off balance.

She is also a highly effective cutter, consistently finding ways to slip behind the defense for easy baskets, while showing a great feel for navigating around screens. With this versatile offensive toolkit, Aakash is a dangerous and impactful player for Grossmont.

Aakash has been the catalyst for 13-4 Grossmont thus far. Stat-sheet stuffer who is currently leading her team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, FG%, and FT%! Her ability to slash and sliver through the lane stands out. Aakash finishes well through contact with a proven ability to routinely finish over bigger defenders. One notable performance vs. Otay Ranch: 22 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 10 steals! She will pick you up full-court from start-to-finish! Aakash excels in transition because of her craftiness and athleticism. She continues to show noticeable improvement in the playmaking department. Aakash has her fingerprints over every aspect of the game. Do-it-all guard with few weaknesses. Exceptional guard rebounder, defensive menace, prolific scorer, fierce competitor.

Aakash was one of my favorite players to watch last season due to the ways she impacted the games on both ends of the floor. High motor rebounding guard that’s super efficient in transition. Multi level scorer that is always always on go looking to attack and create. Super quick first step + can and will knock down the 3ball if given space.

Aakash is a tough, shifty, super fun to watch play guard. Sneaky good rebounder + quick and creative finisher in transition. Always on go looking to score, comfortable shooter from 3 and short jumpers. Quick first step + does a great job being physical and scoring through contact at the rim. Causes havoc defensively, turns defense into easy offense.

Aakash led her high school squad to a 22-5 overall record. Very few weaknesses in her game. She is a handful in transition with an impressive layup package at the rim. She knows when to score and when to pass. Her pace and ball control shows maturity well beyond her years. Shooters would love to play with Aakash. She gets into the lane at will and can pick a defense apart with timely kick-outs to give her teammates open looks. As a sophomore, Aakash was a stat sheet stuffer. 21 games with 4+ steals. 13 games with 4+ assists. 16 games with 20+ points. Double-digit boards in every single game but one. Aakash is a legit combo guard and flat-out gamer. After making the All-CIF San Diego team as a freshman, she has continuously gotten better and better.
