Lawrence averaged 18.3 ppg and 11.3 rebounds this past season for the Lady Bulldogs. Aaliyah has good length to claim rebounds off the glass on both ends of the court. She likes to use the short corner at times but mostly she really remains active on the glass. Aaliyah understands on how to manufacture her own offense on the floor. She helped the Lady Bulldogs to some deep playoff runs over the years for Head Coach Chasen Redd.

Lawrence spent her final AAU season running with Upward Stars Select 2023. During her time with 2A Silver Bluff, she has become used to leading her Bulldogs into big games – including the 2A state championship game in 2021-22 and last season’s 2A Lower State Final. Lawrence assumes team captaincy duties for Silver Bluff and manages to find playing time as either a forward or as a guard. She stands at 5-foot-10 and is a consistent double-double threat on a game-by-game basis. Defensively, she is also a frontcourt anchor for the Bulldogs with her ability to reject shots and plays the game on contact which gives her plenty of chances at the free throw line. Lawrence has also played volleyball throughout her career at Silver Bluff.

(*PGH Preseason Player of the Year*)rnThe Bulldogs were that 2A state championship game participant two seasons ago and were one victory shy last season of a return trip back to the 2A championship game. Lawrence has played volleyball alongside basketball throughout her athletic career and assumed team captaincy duties for Silver Bluff. She has ran on the grassroots circuit with Upward Stars Select. Whenever Lawrence steps on the court, she is a walking double-double threat on a game-by-game basis. She is also unafraid of contact that can place her at the free throw line. She averaged 15.7 points, 11.6 rebounds 3.1 steals and 1.9 blocks per contest last season.

Lawrence, competing at the 2A level with Silver Bluff also knows a thing or two about deep playoff runs and championship games. A couple of seasons ago, she led the Bulldogs to the 2A state title game against Saluda. Lawrence is another who is a double-double threat on a consistent basis. She displays impressive ball handling skills and has no issues driving to the basket. Lawrence is also willing to absorb contact which can give her opportunities at the free throw line. She is coming off a productive club campaign where she ran with Upward Stars Select on the grassroots circuit.

Lawrence helped the Lady Bulldogs to another nice season last year under Head Coach Chasen Redd. Aaliyah likes to handle the rock and drive it from the perimeter. She averaged a double-double last season for the Lady Bulldogs.
