Ball had a dominant opening quarter, scoring eight points for the Chiefs, driving and executing at the basket with ease. One of the best centers in the region, the junior’s 6’2″ frame towers above her competition, making it a unique challenge to defend the Coastal Carolina lacrosse commit. She was key to the Chiefs’ 48-13 triumph over Northern Burlington and works extremely well alongside star senior point guard

Ball was a rebound machine for Cherokee last winter, averaging over six per contest for the Chiefs. The junior also scored 215 points, with most of her work coming from driving and executing at the basket. Expect her to have an even better season come this winter.

Just a sophomore, Ball is having a breakout season for Cherokee (9-5). The 6’2″ center has 108 points so far this winter and the majority of those shots have come from mid-range distance or layups. Her 82 rebounds rank No. 1 on the team by far, as she’s given the Chiefs plenty of second-chance opportunities.
A two-sport athlete, Ball is also one of the best lacrosse players in the region in the spring for Cherokee.
