Highlights come from last weekend’s I35 Showcase, which was a great collection of overall talent. The first thing that stands-out from Lawrence’s footage is how pure and smooth her jumper. Great rotation, and either swishes or has that soft landing that is conductive to getting the shooters’ roll. Uses her threat as a shooter to open the rest of her game, where she is similarly smooth. Didn’t look in a hurry when attacking, was patient and found weak spots in the 8-10 feet range. Or patiently getting to the other side of the rim for a reverse layups. Bucket getting guard, who should be a target for regional small colleges that are looking for a smooth scorer.

One of the better players this weekend off the bounce. Double threat coming off a ball screen reading the defense for the outside shot or downhill drive. One of those players that you must fight over the top on a ball screen. Showed a lot of bounce on the pull jumper releasing at a high lift. Deep range shooting that demands coverage stretching out the defense for driving lanes. Crafty driver that avoids charges on drives to the rim.

A point with some flare is the best way to describe Addisen. She just has that swagger in her game which is what you want at times in your point. Crafty ball handler that has a nice hesi hang cover over to get her going downhill. Good shooter with deep 3-point range that makes you play straight up on defense so no hanging back protecting just the drive. Good vision in the open floor and half court at times seeing cuts before they happen.
Scrappy defender that does not mind getting on the floor for a 50/50 ball. Always looking up the floor on a back court steal finding teammate running the floor. A strong academic student as well.

Good mix of playing smooth, then breaking out the suddenness on drives to get to the rim. Can either quickly stop and hit in the 6-8 foot range, or make a more violent move to elevate or use her quickness to get to the rim. Healthy amount of dimes in the video too, showing her PG qualities. From highlight reel quality finds in transition. To making the reads in the halfcourt to keep the offense flowing. Might be one of the more undervalued lead guards in 2026, because she checks a lot of boxes of physical and skill traits.

A tall point guard that has the skill set and outside shooting to be classified as a combo guard. A very shifty ball handler that used a strong crossover to get by her defender getting downhill. Physical guard that to excel the more physical it got. A deep range shooter that can pull up off the screen or shoot a deep 3 in transition. Gets out fast and wide when filling the lanes on the fast breaks.

Now at North Rock Creek (per her bio on X), based on these highlights the junior to be lead guard put together a complete performance at a recent local tournament. Plays passing lanes with good timing, quickly turns defense into offense (sick no look touch pass to start the tape). Head on a swivel, either probing to find space for herself to score or set up her teammates. Definitely a great “best foot forward” video, that makes a viewer want to follow up to see Lawrence in live action or a full game online.
