Addison is a nice, strong, versatile, multisport athlete who can affect a basketball game in different ways. She is a gritty, physical interior defender who can battle bigger players for rebounds, she understands how to finish around those same players, plus she has a great feel for the mid-post facing the basket. She can step outside, sit down, and defend wings and bigger guards, plus she’s a solid North/South attacker from the perimeter. Addison has double-double potential after averaging 13 points and 7 rebounds as a Junior.

Addison serves Danville as what I would call a “typical” Indiana forward, she is a tough-nosed kid, hard-working, and very aggressive. If she does anything well, she outplays her size. She is a solid all-around athlete, she loves to operate in the mid-post, and she can score it from 15-feet, attack off the bounce, and battle bigger players inside for rebounds and put-backs. Defensively, she can take on wings or forwards. She is also a talented softball prospect.

Addison hasn’t been a regular grassroots presence, but she made a cameo this weekend with the Indiana’s Best Red 17U group. She has a very strong, powerful frame with a low center of gravity. She does a nice job of using her strength to carve out space inside, but she also has nice skill facing the basket in the mid-post. She plays with an outstanding motor, she runs the floor hard in transition, and she outplays her height. I think she could be a really nice small college forward, but I’ve also heard she’s a talented softball prospect.
