Schmidt rose to the occasion, well, she also rose off the ground to drop the jumper, and seeing her elevate to score, at times with a hand in her face, was nice for me. Let me throw in the fact that she’s “long and athletic” which is the base; she scored off the dribble, rebounded, defended both in and outside the paint, and played the passing lane
