Addi is another player who flies under the radar a bit, because she too plays alongside a couple of talented underclassmen at Twin Lakes. However, Addi is very crafty and creative, and she has a keen sense for the game. She almost studies the game early on, then acts as a surgeon and dissects the defense as the game wears on. She has really nice length, good quickness, and she can consistently bury shots from deep. I think she could be a tremendous small college ballplayer who few know much about.

On any other team, Addison would likely be THE standout guard. But playing alongside Olivia Nickerson Olivia Nickerson 5'7" | SG Twin Lakes | 2024 State IN and Addison Bowsman, she’s able to kind of do her thing out there and avoid being chased or face-guarded. Addi Ward is a long, wiry, quick, fast, and feisty guard. She is a point guard by nature, and she has a solid handle and does a nice job of playing with her head up while scanning the floor. She is a dangerous 3-point shooter (24-66, 36%), a very good free throw shooter (78%), plus she uses her length and quickness at the defensive end to frustrate opponents.

Sharing the backcourt with quality prospects like Olivia Nickerson and Addison Bowsman, if teams overlook this Addison, it just makes her that much more dangerous. She has a natural feel for the game, she moves around the floor well, whether she is on the ball or away from it, and she is very skillful. She can knock down open rhythm jumpers consistently, she can create off the dribble for teammates, and she plays with a nice toughness, despite her smaller frame. I also like her feistiness and instincts at the defensive end of the floor.

Addi is a long, slender, quick, and fluid guard who does a little of everything. She is a capable perimeter shooter who can keep defenses honest, she can handle the ball and facilitate or create, and she has a nice IQ for the game. She is quietly tough, she plays with a motor, and she’s a willing & capable defender. I like how she lets the game come to her early, then figures out how to best affect it. She will need to absorb contact a little better for the next level, but I think small colleges will like her balanced skillset a lot.
