AP showed why she is possibly the best two-way player in the state. On defense, she played her normal stellar man defense collecting multiple steals and a block. On offense she carefully picked her spots to shoot from while also handing out some nice assists.

Perkins is elite whether it’s on the ball or off the ball defensively. The ball is never safe with her on the court as she hunts it down even when her man doesn’t have the ball. She will pretty much get into the jersey of the player that she is guarding.

The battle tested guard is as tough as they come and despite being the focal point of opposing defenses, she still finds a way to do work. She is possibly the best two-way player in the state. Her defense often sparks her offense. Once she gets going downhill, she’s hard to stop and it usually ends in a positive play for her or her teammates.

Perkins played extremely well showcasing her three-level scoring ability. Despite being the focus of the opposing defenses, she was still able to navigate and get to her sweet spots. As usual, she played stellar defense that disrupted opposing ballhandlers.
