Michael Crum-Stowe | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Alayah is a disruptive defensive presence with incredibly active hands in the passing lanes, constantly causing problems for opposing offenses. She anticipates passes with precision and reacts quickly, turning deflections into steals and momentum-shifting plays. Her hustle doesn’t stop there—Alayah is always the first to the floor when the ball gets loose, showing her quickness and determination to win possession. Her energy, anticipation, and relentless effort make her a key defensive asset and spark for her team.

Alayah has good size and length for her position which makes her a tough matchup and a nice prospect for the next level. She can shoot it from outside, but I was most impressed with her ability to get to the rim and her euro step in transition. Her unselfishness to make the extra pass and also handle the ball on a team with great guard-play makes her one of the more versatile players I saw in Georgia.

Bolden can be golden for any team she suits up for. She had a stellar campaign last season with the 7A Bulldogs of Brandon. She may be one of the taller participants on her travel team but is listed as a shooting guard. The entirety of her offensive production in The SisterHood Lady Lions 16U Bolden’s victory over Team Elire Hubbard 16U Josh occurred in relatively close proximity to the rim but she can launch 3-pointers. The 5-foot-10 standout can also put together defensive performances of many players with her height – including rejecting shots alongside collecting steals.
