Childress falls into so many groups other than #sizedontmatter because she can not only play, but she can also perform under pressure. She wants the ball in her hands down the stretch in close games and doesn’t mind taking “THE SHOT“, her back-to-back three pointers showed me even more about what’s coming. She scores and dishes off the dribble, court vision across the board is solid, and she does a good job defensively

Childress closes it out by falling into that #sizedontmatter group, and when you have heart as well as desire, that foundation is something you can’t teach. She loves to defend in the set as well as the full court, but her seeing the floor in transition got her teammates easy looks. She also attacked off the dribble and dropped the jumper

Childress is a Tip Sheet waiting to happen because not only is she a #sizedontmatter player, she shows it doesn’t matter because not only can she play, she’s fearless and doesn’t mind diving for loose balls or taking charges. She handles the ball well under pressure, but don’t blink because she can blow by defenders to score or dish.

Standing below 5′, Childress is undersized. The near comeback performance she gave against a team with multiple 6 footers, glued me to the baseline to watch. She hit 3 three point shots in a 4 minute span! Her fight willed her to get rebounds and go up with a fight to end up on the free throw line. She plays with a motor as she is the first one down the court on both ends. Childress makes good reads off of ball screens and has a soft touch on the floater. She repeatedly finished over much larger opponents at the rack in transition.

Childress falls into so many categories other than #sizedontmatter because, you guessed it, she can play. Her tenacious defense had me smiling yet she dropped the mic BATTLING for loose balls and I love things you can’t teach, DESIRE is one of them. She also scored off the dribble, showed nice body control ahead of her years, she also made good decisions on her passes, and played the passing lane
