Lexi is another long, wiry-strong forward who continues to get stronger and more physical each year. She is a nice North/South athlete and even has a little bounce to her. What I like most about her is that she can be physical inside, play around the mid-post, and be productive, or she can step outside, consistently knock down the 3-pointer, or handle it a little and attack. She plays with a very nice motor, plus she is a versatile defender. At this point in time, she has several nice small college offers to choose from.

It was great to see “Lexi” put in a nice, full grassroots season this year, because she has dealt with her share of bumps & bruises over the years. She is a long, wiry-strong, hard-working forward who possesses some athleticism as well. She has a nice inside-out game, where she can operate and cause problems in the mid-post, plus she can knock down a 3-pointer or drive it North/South from 22-feet. She really knows how to compete each possession as well, and she does a lot of the “little things”. She will rebound out of her area, she will defend multiple positions with effort, plus she will get on the floor.

Lexi has dealt with the injury bug during her career, but I can definitely see a difference in her mobility and explosiveness this Spring as opposed to last July. She is starting and stopping much quicker, changing directions better, and looks much faster in transition. I also think she has a bit more strength, and she’s able to absorb contact and/or initiate contact better. She is kind of a ‘tweener who can play comfortably around the perimeter, knock down a jumper and attack off the bounce, but she’s also highly effective in the mid-post, where she can do similar things, but much more consistently.
