Expert Analysis
Akiem Bailum | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
One of the two sisters Burnette that occupy the Wolverines roster, she is coming off a grassroots season that saw her (and little sis Sadie) play their AAU ball with Upward Stars Upstate 3SSB. A key portion of what she does is the work she exerts in the low post. Burnette also understands when the right time is to score and when the right time is to pass. She manages to stretch the floor by converting on her 3-point shot opportunities. In addition to her offensive versatility, Burnette will have games where she comes up big on the boards in addition to making things difficult for opposing offenses with rejected shots.

She is one of two sisters Burnette that comprise the Wolverines roster. She was also a participant on the Upward Stars Upstate 2025 roster that used to operate as Carolina Aces. Burnette played in 25 games last season for a Woodruff team that made a 3A playoff appearance this past season. She will have games where she definitely stacks up the points and brings down the rebounds. One way she ups her point total is via draining 3-point shots. She will also have games where she makes things difficult on opposing offenses via blocked shots. Burnette also knows when to score and when to distribute the ball.

Burnette plays down in the post. Alli is a bit undersized at times but, that doesn’t deter her from playing the game. She can step-out and knockdown the 3-ball.
She needs to defend down in the post but feels most comfortable playing face-up to the basket. Alli should be one of the senior leaders on this Lady Wolverines roster this season.
