In her last season as a high school player, Allia had multiple moments this year where she put on a show on both ends of the floor. Whether it was being tasked with guarding the toughest guard or taking things into her own hands as the scoring machine for her team, she delivered. As the lone senior on this squad, she led them on a deep playoff run. The Valpo commit should have a strong college career as well.

A shifty guard that can be effective on both sides of the floor. Offensively, she’s a scoring threat from the arc to the rim. Defensively, her motor and quick feet are key to her impact on the perimeter.

Coming off of a 3A state championship. Nazareth Academy looks to make history by going back to back in two different classes. With a loaded team that returns almost every key player, Von Schlegell’s arrival will be a great addition. A high caliber scoring guard that can defend, and impact the game in both a half court and full court setting. Her speed and the ability to be a threat in the PnR and play off the ball will be another area that defenses will have to scout against.

The move to Nazareth Academy might be one of the biggest transfers this year. Allia brings a ton of talent and scoring power at the PG spot that will allow Nazareth to play up tempo, as well as in a half court setting. Her ability to play without the ball and next to other high level players will be on display too. She’s secured a D1 offer this past month, and that might start to multiply during the season. Her speed, defensive tenacity and limitless stamina are at the top of her skillset.

Allia played as though she has always been on the Naz team. Her work over the summer was reflected in her point guard play. She blew past boys who were bigger and faster than her to attack the glass. She has super solid handles, can control her defender and protects the ball. She couldn’t miss from behind the arc.

A double double waiting to happen.. Allia can score out of the triple threat, off the catch and can get to the basket at will to feed or to score. Creative with the ball, fast first step and has the quick release that keeps defenders uneasy. Tough minded as well, Von Schlegel doesn’t let her size stop her from getting where she needs to go.
