Since I last saw Alyssa during the Summer of 2024, she looks a little taller, longer, and stronger. She has also significantly improved her skillset and become a more traditional point guard, where in the past I felt like she was a shooter/scorer who could also handle and create. She has nice quickness, a good all-around feel for the game, and she sees the floor well. She can still knock down open shots, and she is an effortful and effective defender.

Alyssa is a fun-to-watch, scrappy little guard who plays with a lot of energy. She has very good speed & quickness, great length at her height, and she moves almost effortlessly at times like a water-bug. She stood out to me defensively, as she frustrated opposing ball-handlers trying to get it across halfcourt. Offensively, she looked to shoot/score a little more than facilitate, but she does have some point guard skill, and I think over time that’s how she will be recruited. She definitely did a lot of the “little things” to help her team win, and she has a nice ceiling because she likely isn’t done growing.
