Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A 6-foot-plus forward who can rip nylon from 3-point range, finish with touch at the rim, while imposing her will in the paint, is a commodity to have. Alyx can push the ball with pace in transition using both hands and knock down mid-range jumpers. Her length on defense and rebounding efforts will be a factor this weekend. Alyx looks like a skilled forward who could be in for a fantastic weekend at our Victory Region Finals–she’s a prospect for Indiana Showcase Black 17U you won’t want to miss.

Alyx put together her best Winter yet at Chatard, but she has always been a skillful basketball player with nice size and potential. She is long, wiry-strong, fairly fluid, and versatile. She can put it on the floor 3 to 4 dribbles and get somewhere productively, she has touch to the 3-point line, but she can also go inside, rebound, and defend. In a loaded 2026 class, she could end up being a real small college “sleeper” at this point. This Spring could be huge for her as well.

Alyx plays with Indiana Showcase Black , and caught my attention in the opening few minutes of her game on Sunday. Lanky wing with a great wingspan. Get gets to the ball and able to come up with big deflections. Also has good range and will knock down the free throws. A player to check out this summer, hoping to get to play at the next level! Alyx is one of the best prospects on our entire watch list in 2026, and if I’m being honest, after watching her in July, she should probably be in our Top-100 when we expand our rankings in December, if not in the current Top-75. She has a tall, long frame, she’s a nice all-around athlete, and she has done a good job of building her strength. She can knock down shots from the perimeter, put it on the floor and attack the basket, plus she’s great in the mid-post and can score around the block. If she can sit a little lower defensively and be better at that end of the floor around the perimeter, I think it will really help her recruiting.

Alyx is a skilled, talented forward who is starting to stack consistent outing onto consistent outing. She has a solid to strong frame, nice length, and she moves well in most directions. She has some ball skill and can put it on the floor to make plays. She also has some touch as deep as 3-point range, plus she’s outstanding in the mid-post. I expect for her to be a key part of a strong frontline for Chatard in 2024-2025.
