About Amari

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

5’9” power forward can also play the five position good rebounding skills and boxing out. I can also contain the inside very well very athletic strong mind, strong body, and ready to put in the work.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very outgoing don’t mind helping out being a team player Otis of four siblings so I put a lot of work in with helping my parents when they need help I like working out and staying home watching movies and being with my family

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in a nonprofit organization called get up girls. It’s where we teenage girls get together once or twice a month talk about different issues go out to different places and engage with each other. I was also a member of the JROTC wow I was at Westwood high school due to me transferring to a new school this year and the school is new. JROTC program won’t be offered until my senior year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m very independent my parents teach me to be independent. I was the team captain of my high school basketball team last year. My family and I volunteer and feed different shelters.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

No significant challenges. I have a good relationship with my parents so if I have any questions or concerns, I usually go to them first for advice.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for college that will work me allow me to be a team player. Develop me to the next level.

After a freshman season for 5A Division 2 Westwood that saw Dugger play in 22 games, coach Gregory Bauldrick is looking for Dugger to take that next step in her development as she begins her sophomore season. Last season was Dugger’s first with the Redhawks after transferring from White Knoll. A Team Unleashed South Carolina product, Dugger as a defender knows how to read plays before they happen, enabling her to play heads-up and come through with defensive stops. She also knows how to turn defense into offense by getting out in transition and delivering strong finishes at the cup.
