I was impressed with her acrobatic yet controlled finishes at the rim, showing both flair and composure in traffic and understands how to use reverse finishes around the basket. She keeps teammates involved with smart reads and unselfish play. She plays tough on the ball defense without picking up unnecessary fouls. Offensively, she’s a threat from the perimeter all the way to the baseline, especially with her smooth pull-up midrange game.

High energy player on both sides of the ball. Garcia has speed, size, and power and is already in playoff playing shape in November. Her length combined with anticipation caused her to get multiple deflections or steals. Upon intercepting the ball to lead the break in transition, Garcia displayed great court vision as she found her teammates for uncontested buckets.

Garcia is living up to her “Sunshine” nickname as she’s one of the best midrange shooters in the state. Factor in that she’s just shy of “the magic number” and one thing that has remained consistent is that college coaches love big guards that can drop it. She’s also using her strength to overpower smaller guards, both off the dribble and under the basket

Garcia is one of the most improved #D1Locks I called early and she continues to live up to her “Sunshine” nickname because her midrange jumper is next level ready. She does a good job creating her shot, nothing fancy just “old school basic” yet she takes me back to the age of shooters as she also can drop it from deep. Her deceptive first step is also a plus as she scores off the dribble but her body control on her finishes enables her to finish after contact

#10 Garcia’s nickname is “Sunshine” which is perfect because she keeps elevating her game showing brightness was in her future. She uses her frame nicely to score over smaller guards yet she plays within herself which is huge, nut not as huge as her midrange jumper which is big plus for the next level. She also rebounds, on btoh ends, scores off the dribble and sees the floor
