Aniston is a returning All-Region selection from last season. She leads us off with a Carrington team that has a ton of talented 2028’s. She can score in bunches and from anywhere on the court. She is slippery driving to the basket and can get by many primary defenders. She finishes well at the rim and earns herself trips to the free-throw line. Aniston seems to line up when the lights are the brightest, something great players do. Last season she scored 20 against Kindred, 19 against Devils Lake, and 21 against Valley City. This ability to play well against top competition is one of the reasons I think Carrington comes out of Region 2 in 2027.

Hoornaert is part of a large Carrington class of talented basketball players.  She was one of three All-Region selections for the Cardinals.  She is a dynamic threat on the offensive side of the court.  She moves well and has an impressive change of speed that allows her to slip past defenders on drives to the hoop.  She does a great job in their press-break and can attack advantages when given the opportunity to do so.  She uses ball-screens well and can deliver on-target and on-time pocket passes to rolling posts.
