About Anna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a shifty point guard that likes to get to the rim. I’m a sharp shooter from three. I am a true playmaker who gets opportunities for my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very determined personality and I really want to play basketball at the next level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play volleyball and basketball for Irons Jr. High. I am in NJHS. I have received awards in math and science and have got all A’s my whole life. I have also received the Dolly Vogel award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed amazing leadership skills since I am the team captain. I have become more determined and confident in myself in basketball and life.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Basketball wise, my school team last year had 2 people who had ever played a basketball game before. And one of them was me. That season was rough, but I still averaged 16 PPG. We still had a good season despite not having a lot of actual basketball players.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that can develop my game so I can take it to the next level. I want a college that genuinely likes me and my game.
