About Anyah
Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Anyah has spent the last couple of years becoming an extremely strong/powerful and physical guard. She isn’t very tall for the way she plays, but she also outplays her height. She is a nice North/South athlete with a little quickness to her game, and she is a multilevel scorer. She can knock down an open rhythm jumper, but she’s much better putting it on the floor and making plays. Defensively, she works at it and does a nice job using her frame. I also like her willingness to rebound her position.

Anyah is one of those kids who plays much bigger than she is. She has a strong, almost muscular frame with broad shoulders. She has good speed and quickness, and she can get off the floor. I really liked her motor, her willingness to defend the length of the floor with effort, and her unselfishness at the offensive end of the floor. Additionally, when she was left alone, she consistently buried perimeter jumpers when she was on-balance and in rhythm. I really like what she brings to the table, and she could add great depth for the Trailblazers this year.
