April had an impressive showing during the live period, averaging just under 10 points per game. She is a promising guard with a strong feel for the game and consistently makes sound decisions with the basketball. Looks like April will make the jump to prep school and be the new starting point guard at TPLS who has produced multiple division one players. April averaged 22.2 points per game in high school that was third in the state for junior’s. In her TPLS debut she led the team in scoring and assist including a 24 point game with 9 rebounds and 5 assists!

Adding to her scoring versatility, she attacked off the dribble and made the right read, pulling up before the defense could collapse for a smooth free-throw line jumper.

With her motor, defensive presence, and developing offensive package, expect April to make a noticeable rise in the rankings next year.

Winfield emerged as one of the top perimeter threats in Class 3, earning Region 3A Player of the Year honors while consistently leading Hopewell in scoring throughout the postseason. A confident and prepared shooter, she excels at spotting up from deep, particularly in the corners, where her footwork and quick release allow her to capitalize on catch-and-shoot opportunities. Her off-ball movement standout, as she does a great job relocating, reading the defense, and finding open space for kick-out threes.
