Bella reached a major milestone on Monday evening, scoring her 2,000th career point in a win over crosstown rival Maine West. Already a junior, she still has a full year to chase the conference’s all-time record of 3,077 points set by Jewell Loyd from 2009–2012. This season, she has been the team’s go-to player in every facet, leading in scoring, rebounding, ballhandling, and defense, with averages of 28.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 3 steals per game.
