Brooks is from the Killeen area which like many other places in Texas, has an abundance of hidden talent but here’s the problem, you have to be where I am to get an honest evaluation and if you are, I need NON_ERRRONEOUS rosters, it’s just that simple but watching defenders try to guard here isn’t that simple as she blows by them in the set as well as in the full court. Body control after contact on her finishes is solid, she drops the jumper and has good court vision. Brooks is a “long and athletic” guard which is also the base and her tenacity on the defensive end creates havoc and usually leads to turnovers with the ball going the other way. She has quick hands and that gets her some steals yet she also reads the floor and plays the passing lane to get some. Her ballhandling and court vision afterward leads to baskets or scoring opportunities for her teammates. She also scores off the dribble and can drop the jumper, stop, and pop in transition included

High basketball IQ as I saw her read the defense’s stance to know which way to attack. After getting past the first line of defense, she crossed multiple defenders to attack the basket and draw contact to get to the charity stripe and finish. Very smooth player, as she won’t force but kick out to her teammates for open looks. She has an extremely quick trigger shot which works to her advantage. Before the defense can jump to the ball, and put a hand in her face Brooks has nailed the three ball.
