Soil, a dynamic guard from Antelope Valley, has been a key factor in her team’s dominant 23-2 record this season. Averaging 27.5 points per game, she proves that size is no obstacle to her scoring ability. Standing at just 5’3″, Soil’s fundamental footwork and finesse dribbling allow her to consistently finish at the rim, while she can also pull up from beyond the arc when needed. Her ability to drive her opponent into the paint and convert efficiently has made her a constant scoring threat. Ariana is averaging almost 30 per game! She averaged 22 as a junior last year (not too shabby), but clearly was not satisfied. Ariana already has three 40 point games on the season with only 1 sub-20 scoring performance. This has carried Antelope Valley to a 14-1 record. She is very hard to stay in front of and scores in a variety of ways. Ariana is an unstoppable force when she has it going!

Soil was a scoring machine during the 2024 season, averaging 21.9 points per game — placing her in the top 50 for scoring in California. She helped lead the Antelopes to a 17-7 record. While she got off to a slow start to the season, Soil was unstoppable in January and February. During the last nine games of the season, Soil averaged 32.2 points per game and eclipsed the 30-point mark in all but two of those games. As a result of Soil’s increased scoring production, the Antelopes ended the season on a seven-game winning streak. If Soil can replicate the scoring numbers she posted in the latter half of last season, expect her to catch the attention of college scouts and climb in the rankings.

In her first season with Antelope Valley, Ariana averaged an impressive 22 PPG. They won seven of their last eight games to close the season, in large part due to her surge. She had seven 30 point games last year, all consecutively in the latter half of the season. Ariana can score at all three levels and will continue that momentum into her senior season.
